The new Addict frame is 25% more comfortable than the race-oriented Addict RC and 50% more compliant compared to the previous generation. The slimmed-down seat tube, refined top tube, and dropped seat stays work together to effectively absorb vibrations from road imperfections, while maintaining stiffness and precise handling.
The frame design was guided by advanced FEA simulations and SCOTT’s in-house carbon construction expertise, resulting in the perfect balance between vibration damping and efficient power transfer.
More tire clearance, more freedom
The 2026 Addict now accommodates tires up to 38 mm wide, opening up a new dimension of comfort and handling. Wider tires running at lower pressure provide better grip, reduced rolling resistance, and added safety—whether on rough asphalt or long, winding descents.
Fine-tuned geometry for long rides
The new geometry is designed with comfort in mind: the 2026 model offers a 5 mm higher stack and a 5 mm shorter reach compared to its predecessor. This results in a more upright, less aggressive riding position, ideal for hours in the saddle. Meanwhile, the 2 mm shorter chainstays make the bike more playful and agile.
Carbon expertise at two levels
The Addict is available in two carbon versions:
HMF – lightweight, stiff, and more affordable construction
HMX – premium high-modulus carbon frame, extremely lightweight while matching the stiffness level of the Addict RC
The HMX frame weighs only 780 g, making it not only one of the lightest in its class but also 50 grams lighter than the legendary 2020 Addict RC SL.

Save-the-day kit – an integrated repair kit inside the downtube (included in the Premium and 10 models), always within reach yet completely hidden.
Custom frame bag: a stylish, removable bag in the front triangle with quick access.
Syncros integration: broad compatibility with Addict RC components, ergonomic handlebar options, D-shaped seatpost, and integrated lighting.
Easy adjustments: nearly all components can be quickly fine-tuned with a universal T25 tool.
