The Addict range represents the cutting edge of cycling technology, with the perfect balance of ultra-lightness and high performance.
Its frames are made from high quality carbon, allowing weight to be minimised while maintaining rigidity and stability. All models are characterised by excellent aerodynamics and complete integration, giving them a clean look. They are also completed with precise shifting systems, lightweight wheels and quality components.
The main difference between the Addict and Addict RC bikes is in the design of the frames and the materials used.
The RC (Racing Concept) models are an improved version of the Addict series, with an even greater focus on competitiveness and professional-level performance. The two series are based on two different frames:
HMX carbon frames: HMX (High Modulus Xtreme) carbon is one of the highest quality and lightest carbon types Scott uses on its top-of-the-range bikes, the RC models.
These frames are extremely rigid and lightweight, which provides excellent performance and handling. HMX carbon frames are generally designed for racing and professional level cycling.
HMF carbon frames: HMF (High Modulus Fiber) carbon is also a high quality material, but slightly heavier and less rigid than HMX. HMF carbon frames are still very light and rigid, but are generally more affordable, making the performance of the Addict range more accessible to more cyclists.
Another significant difference lies in the geometry of the two frames.
The RC models have a more aggressive, race-oriented geometry, while the Addict series has a slightly more comfortable, but still high-performance geometry. This is achieved with a lower Stack, longer Reach, shorter head tube and wheelbase on the RC frames, while the opposite is true of the Addict.

Basically any model with the features you want. Both series are available in several versions, representing different levels of performance and value for money. The Addict RC is the ideal choice for those who want to maximise their performance, or who are looking for a more race-oriented geometry for training, faster rides, or just want to experience the potential of Scott's top-of-the-range models. The Addict model is a versatile and comfortable bike that can be used for races or even longer rides. These bikes also have Scott's top technologies and excellent performance, but with a more comfortable geometry and seating position, which may be more ideal for longer, more relaxed rides.
