The renowned Hochkönig ski region near Salzburg is one of Austria's least crowded ski areas. Even during peak season, long lift queues and overcrowded slopes are virtually unknown. Surrounded by majestic 3,000-metre peaks, Hochkönig is easily accessible via the nearby A10 Tauern Motorway. The famous Königstour ski safari offers 150 km of interconnected slopes, linking the resorts of Maria Alm, Hinterthal, Dienten and Mühlbach.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, you'll find slopes to suit every ability—from the gentle runs of Maria Alm to the varied terrain around Hinterthal, Dienten and Mühlbach. For families, the area offers fantastic attractions including the 1 km Kids Funslope in Maria Alm and the 3 km Family Run in Mühlbach, featuring rollers, tunnels, obstacles and jumps. As the Ski Amadé lift pass is included, our experienced ski guides are also happy to take guests on excursions to the neighbouring ski areas of Flachau and Gastein.

The hotel enjoys direct access to the No. 10 blue beginner slope, served by a modern gondola lift. The children's fun park and several other easy blue runs in Maria Alm all converge directly at the hotel. Tom Hütte can also be reached within minutes via an easy blue run or by gondola.
