Hochkönig/Ski Amadé ski week 2026 8-13 february

Hochkönig / Ski Amadé Ski Week February 8–13, 2026

Dates: February 8–13, 2026

This renowned ski paradise owes its name to the majestic 3,000-meter Hochkönig peak rising in the heart of the Salzburg region. Easy accessibility is ensured by the nearby A10 Tauern motorway. The total 150 km interconnected Königstour ski safari is served by four Alpine villages offering a wide choice of accommodations.

Everyone will find slopes to suit their skills, from the gentle runs of Maria Alm, through the vast terrains of Hinterthal and Dienten, all the way to the King’s Cab Funpark in Mühlbach. Nowhere else in Austria will you find ski areas so uncrowded—meaning even during peak season, “queues” and “crowds” are practically unknown here.

Hochkönig is a true treasure trove of snowy experiences for those who wish to spend their leisure time actively. From snowmobile tours to nighttime ski acrobatics shows, hot air ballooning to exploring salt caves, the choice of activities is endless. If that’s not enough, with your Ski Amadé pass our guides will gladly take you over to the neighboring slopes of Flachau and Gastein.

Distance from Budapest: 550 km (of which 530 km is motorway).
